Examples of carried out internships

Hotel industry

The trainees engage in a wide range of activities encompassing comprehensive hotel guest services. These tasks involve reception desk duties, room cleaning and preparation, kitchen assistance, floor service, operating modern office equipment, and coordinating various hotel services and events, all executed with professionalism.

This opportunity provides young individuals with firsthand exposure to the daily operations of a hotel and the organizational structure of tasks within the hospitality industry.

Gastronomy

Trainees undertake professional responsibilities associated with meal planning and organization. Throughout the internship, they receive training in meal preparation, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, and specialized dietary dishes such as vegetarian meals.

During their practical experience, they develop skills in preparing meals according to principles of balanced nutrition, aesthetically pleasing presentation, and attentive customer service. They gain proficiency in table setting techniques and cultivate teamwork skills.

Vehicle mechanics

In workshops, young individuals receive training in diagnosing and servicing various motor vehicles.

Under the expert guidance of a supervisor, trainees evaluate the technical condition of vehicles, assemble and maintain components, and conduct repairs and replacements of damaged or malfunctioning parts. Through this experience, they cultivate self-discipline and independence, both crucial aspects of a mechanic’s daily work routine.

IT

A secondary school student specializing in IT is undertaking an internship at an IT company specializing in servicing, diagnosing, and recycling computer equipment.

During the internship, the student assists in servicing laptops and PCs, performing hardware and software configurations, program installations, and operations. Additionally, detailed training is provided on computer disassembly and the segregation of computer parts for subsequent recycling.

Railway professions

Internship students opting for railway professions receive training from PKP Cargo International. Throughout the internship, they acquire practical knowledge related to marshalling trains, assembling trains, preparing trains for operation, and maintaining technical and traffic movement documentation.

Additionally, trainees familiarize themselves with the responsibilities of personnel overseeing railway traffic safety, such as traffic duty officers, dispatchers, railroad employees, and railway automation system operators.

Agriculture

Participants in the agriculture course undertake internships at a farm in the Czech Republic.

During the internship, they engage in tasks related to breeding, caring for, and feeding various farm animals, such as cows and sheep. They receive training in organizing and executing tasks associated with land cultivation, as well as performing basic plant pest control treatments. Additionally, they learn to identify plant diseases or pests that may pose a threat to the farm’s harvest.

Forestry

Training as a forester occurs both outdoors in the State Forests of the Czech Republic and within production and office facilities.

Participants have the chance to develop skills in planning, organizing, and overseeing forest management activities within a designated forest district. Throughout their internship, they conduct measurements and inventory tasks in tree stands, compile necessary documentation, and engage in activities related to wood and by-product production.
